Brittany Weiss
My name is Ms. Weiss and I am the second grade teacher at Saint Joseph Catholic School. I am excited and it is especially wonderful for me to be here because I grew up in this church and school! As a matter of fact, I have the joy of working with my former first grade teacher, Mrs. Johnson.
I have lived in Princeton my whole life. My loving family is pretty large. I have four sisters, and one of them is also a second grade teacher in our diocese. My oldest sister lives in California with her husband, two boys, and one girl. I have pictures of them on my desk.
After graduating from Princeton Community I went to the University of Southern Indiana. There, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a Reading endorsement. I have spent some time prior to teaching at this school working at a summer camp for children in this town and time working in the public elementary schools. I feel that Saint Joseph School is a very special place to learn and grow. I am happy to be a part of this family!
I love to learn about all the subjects in our class, but my favorite is Religion. Being close to God and learning about Him is my top priority! Some of my favorite things include Mexican food, reading, the beach, dark chocolate, and the summer weather. I look forward to spending time and learning with all my students!
