Principal’s Corner

Wildcat families,

We have had a great week here at St. Joe! It was filled with end-of-year testing, auction experiences, and field trips. It’s hard to believe that the 24-25 school year is coming to a close in two weeks!

This week’s Wildcat of the Week  is Jude S. Jude was nominated by Mrs. Hartley. Mrs Hartley described him as a leader, caring, and always willing to help! He was particularly helpful in library and anytime a sub is needing assistance. Way to go, Jude!

Thank you to everyone who has helped us celebrate our wonderful teachers this week with gifts, thank you notes, and cookies! We are very grateful for our PTO for breakfast, lunch, and charm bar gifts! Our teachers and staff are the best!

The Isaiah Project Pajama Walk will take place on Tuesday, May 13th. Students are welcome to wear pajamas to school that day. Pajamas should be school appropriate. Prizes will be handed out that day as well. Thank you to all who raised money for foster children in need!

The Fifth Grade Promotion Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 16th. The celebration will begin with Mass at 8:15 a.m., followed by a special slideshow and awards presentation. After the ceremony, breakfast will be served in the gym for all graduates and their families.

A Retirement Celebration will be held on Wednesday, May 14th for Mrs. Duncan and Mrs. Fischer. Join us to celebrate their many years of dedication to St. Joe! The celebration will take place from 3:30-5:30 pm in the gym.

The Early Childhood Moving Up Program is coming up on Tuesday, May 20th. All Preschool and Pre-K families are welcome. The ceremony will start at 9 am in the church. Stop by the gym afterwards for refreshments and an amazing art show!

The Catholic Corner

As the crops are planted in the fields, it’s important to pray for farmers' health and safety.  With God’s help these people bring food to our table!  On May 15th we remember a saint who was a Spanish farmer. He taught us about being a hard worker and being kind to neighbors. Who is the Saint?
