Hello, Wildcat Families!

It is officially May! It has been a busy year with lots of growth and learning along the way. We have lots of activities coming up to close out the year! 

This week’s Wildcat of the Week is Maci Auberry. Maci is a third grade student in Mrs. Layman’s class. Mrs. Layman described her as responsible, obedient, and a great friend. Way to go, Maci! 

Our second grade class completed the sacrament of First Communion last Sunday. Please continue to pray over our communicants. 

ILEARN testing is now complete! Our students stayed focused and worked hard over the last few weeks. We are proud of their great efforts! 

Our Pre-K Mother’s Tea is tomorrow! We are excited for a fun afternoon with our Pre-K mom’s! Please RSVP on the sign in sheet at pickup or call into the office if you haven’t already. 

Teacher’s Appreciation Week is next week! We are so excited to shower our great teachers with thanks and love! We will have a special day for each day of the week. Please check the flyer that was sent home in last week’s blue folders for more details! 

Students who purchased yearbooks, you will receive them next Wednesday (5/8). Students will have the opportunity to have books signed by staff and students on this date as well.  

The athletic banquet is next Thursday (5/9)! We will honor archery, basketball, cheerleading, and cross country athletes. Please return your RSVPs to the main office by Monday, May 6th! 

Families, as we get closer to the end of the year, please check your cafeteria accounts. All payments will be due by the conclusion of the school year. 

The School Choice Scholarship window is now open. You must reapply each year for the School Choice Scholarship. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Fischer (kfischer@evdio.org) or Dr. Spindler (kspindler@evdio.org).
