Kim Duncan
Hi everyone! My name is Kim Duncan. I was born and raised in the small town of Mt. Olympus. At the age of 21, I married my husband Brett. We have been happily married for 39 years and currently reside in Princeton. We are the proud parents of two daughters who could pass as twins if they wanted to! Kasey is (32) and Brittany is (29). I have three grand babies and they are truly gifts from God!! My hobbies include spending time with my family, fishing at my Dad’s pond, shopping, 4-wheeler or side-by-side cruising, family dinners (we are avid Mexican food eaters!), and searching for the next fun project to share with my wonderful students.
My college endeavors include both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Elementary Education. I obtained both degrees from the University of Southern Indiana.
St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School is my home away from home. I started my teaching career in this wonderful environment twenty six years ago. I have enjoyed every minute of my time here at St. Joseph. The administration, staff, parents, and students contribute to an exciting, positive atmosphere that is truly enjoyable. My children also attended St. Joseph, and I am very thankful to have watched them grow and succeed in life with the assistance of the great teachers at this school.
I have attended several professional development workshops, seminars, and meetings to gain further knowledge in new concepts and tools for the classroom. I love finding new ways to interact with my students and provide engaging instruction that is inclusive to each child’s individual needs.
My classroom is built upon love, faith, compassion, perseverance, and hard work. I absolutely love teaching and the opportunity to work with amazing children each day. I look forward to many more years at St. Joe, and I am truly blessed to call St. Joe my home!
