Melissa Layman
Third Grade here I come!! My name is Mrs. Melissa Layman, and this will be my first year teaching third grade!! I taught kindergarten, here at St. Joseph, for 17 years, took two years off, and now I’m back and ready to start a new adventure!! I love to teach and get to know my students and their families!
My husband, Chris, and I live in Ft. Branch with our three children. Kali is 12, Wyatt is 11, and Rhett is 6 years old. I also have two dogs named Trixie and Barkley. We are parishioners at Holy Cross and my boys currently go to school there. My daughter went to Holy Cross but graduated fifth grade and moved on to middle school a couple years ago.
My family and I love to swim, camp, and go for walks. We keep busy with sports too! I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to return to St. Joseph School and be with such wonderful coworkers, kids, and families!! Here’s to new beginnings!!
